The Samuel Adams Rebel IPA is a West Coast-style India pale ale made with five American hops: American Cascade, Simcoe, Chinook, Centennial, and Amarillo. The Rebel Family comes in five flavors: Juiced, Grapefruit, Imperial, Rouser, Cascade, and Raw.
Sam Adams Light
Boston Beer Company’s Sam Adams Light is the company’s second light beer, following Boston Lightship, which was introduced in 1993.
Barrel Room Collection
The beers in this collection, which include American Kriek, New World, and Stony Brook Red, are aged in large wood barrels to pick up some of the flavors of the wood.
Nitro Project
The Nitro Project is a collection of nitrogen-infused beer styles, including Nitro Coffee Stout and Nitro White Ale, with a third style, Nitro IPA, currently unavailable from Boston-based nano-brewery Samuel Adams.
Utopias
Utopias was released in 2002, and it was marketed as the world’s strongest commercial beer at 24% abv. It is aged for almost a year in scotch, cognac, and port barrels, and only a small number of bottles are released each year.
Seasonal offerings
Cold Snap, a Witbier brewed with orange peel and spices, is available in the spring; summer offerings are available from April to July; and fall offerings include OctoberFest, a Marzen, and Jack-O, a pumpkin shandy.
Official beer of the Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox have named Samuel Adams as their official beer. The eight-year deal will run through the 2025 season and will include signage at Fenway Park, as well as the right to use the Red Sox logo for marketing purposes and to hold Red Sox-related contests.
Brewery
Apart from the Boston Lager, every beer was first made at the Boston Brewery, which opened in 1989. There are two other breweries in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, but only the Boston Brewery is open to the public for tours and tastings.

Samuel Adams beer has received media attention for its various beers; Fezziwig won in Massachusetts in a list of “Best Christmas/Winter Beer in Each State,” and Samuel Adams brewery was named the best brewery in Massachusetts by Buzzed.
